MOBILE APPLICATION
An accompanying mobile application is designed to enhance the experience of Clair de Lune. The application allows users to interact with the installation as well as one another.
Application Icon, Log in Screen, Loading Screen
The application icon shows the logo, an impression of a star mascot.
The log in screen and the loading screen then follow the same theme: celestial objects. In the swipepad, the user's finger is trailed by stars, and the loading screen pulses like twinkling starlight.
Main menu, Journal, Settings
Main menu is the main screen of the application. The user can access all the other pages from the main menu.Â
The journal provides the users a digital notepad to record their ideas.Â
The settings page let the users adjust and modify the app to their likings.
Map, Near Me
The map reflects the current state of the installations and the seating area around it. The center light orange dot is the Lune, the fountain installation, and the smaller, brighter dots are the chairs structures surrounding it. The users can move the chairs around by dragging them and locking them in place by double clicking on the dot and staying in close perimeter with it. Movement in the map will be reflected in real time.
With the Near Me interface, the users can find and meet other users around them.
Pet Star, Store
For entertainment purpose, the users of the application can "raise" their own star in symbolism of their dream as a virtual pet in reflection of the story. The "store" provides purchasable upgrades of the virtual pet games including items for the pet star and real life merchandises.
