THE LUNE AND SEATING STRUCTURE
THE LUNE
The Lune serves as a structure that fosters interaction within the college campus and surrounding neighborhood in hopes of building a supportive community. Recording devices referred to as the "wishing orbs" are gathered in the center cylindrical cone while a constant number of orbs floats on the pool, waiting to be picked up by guests.

After the guests record their messages, they put the orbs in the suction tube that sucks the orbs up and transports them to the middle section of the Lune. The orbs will spiral down several orbital plates, creating an interstellar-like stimulation of color and light with the structure before finally gathering in the center structure until it is released again. The number of orbs in the water will be monitored and the rest will be kept in the central structure. The plates in the structure that the orbs circle down will help create a planetary-like orbit effect that enhances the experience visually. The guests will feel like they are putting a star back into space and getting a star from the milky way.

SEATING AREA
The entire seating area structure sits on top of a platform with electromagnetic sensors underneath it. The sensors will be able to control the movements of the seating booths with the accompanying app.

There will be two types of booths offered called "planets" that can accommodate both bigger and smaller groups.
The chairs will glide across the platform with the swipe of guests’ fingers on the seating app in Clair de Lune. Electronic sensors installed under the platform will control and shift the booths.

Guests can temporarily lock a certain booth in place through the app. As long as they stay in proximity with the sensors of the particular booth, the booth will be locked. Once they leave the booth, it can resume its mobility automatically.
